What is your background?
I grew up in a very sporting environment as my grandfather played for Somerset Cricket Club for 12 years and was quoted by Sir Donald Bradman “to be the best player to not represent Australia”. He has been a father figure to me throughout my life and has instilled in me the values I live my life to.
Personally, cricket is my number one sport, but I also enjoy football and golf and am privileged to be working in the industry I do.
What do you enjoy about working at Kukri?
At Kukri we have a great team, who are all pulling in the same direction. I really enjoy working with the variety of different customers, from independent schools and grass roots clubs.
It’s a cliche, but every day is different and really rewarding.
What do you enjoy when away from work?
Sport plays a major part in my life, including cricket, golf, and football. I also love travelling, walking the dog and family BBQs.
Interesting fact
I once scored 118* for Somerset 2nds at the age of at the age of 17 against Surrey on my debut.
