Record Operating Profits Announced by Kukri Sports
March 10, 2022 | Press Releases |
The last 12 months have proved to be extremely successful for Kukri Sports, despite the challenging circumstances everyone has found themselves in.
The business has seen group sales rise by 26% and operating profits rise by an incredible 130%.
Success behind the numbers
The business has successfully navigated the worldwide pandemic, maintained supply chains, managed inflated operating costs as a consequence of Brexit and ensured that the lines of communication remained open between our customers and sale managers around the world. This has enabled the business to ensure continued high levels of customer service and satisfaction have been retained throughout some of the most difficult trading times of recent years.
During 2021, Kukri continued to provide high quality bespoke teamwear and leisure wear on a global platform and successfully extended their partnerships with some highly valued customers, plus signed a host of new partners across the globe encompassing National Governing Bodies, schools, universities and grass roots clubs and teams.
Kukri continually strive to improve their product ranges and develop its sustainability objectives providing partners with the option of a more environmentally friendly kit provision.
“Whilst the world has experienced extremely challenging circumstances over the last few years we are extremely proud of the team at Kukri Sports, who have all pulled together to achieve these outstanding results and we are looking forward to a big year ahead!” Andrew Ronnie – Group Executive Chairman
The year ahead promises to be no less successful or exciting for Kukri, with its third cycle of Commonwealth Games working alongside Team England and Team Canada. There are huge plans in the pipeline for Birmingham 2022 including an upcoming Team England kit reveal and some fantastic new retail ranges so everyone can feel part of the action.
With a great team and a secure business model, we are ready for 2022.
